Using the knowledge accumulated in the last 20 years of research and development and production of elastomers, Kik Compounds has developed through intense research, biodegradable and biobased elastomers, without compromising on the technical requirements of traditional fossil-based elastomers.
Working closely with its customers, Kik Compounds is developing highly customized biodegradable and bio-based elastomers to suit the customer’s necessary equipment and technical requirements.
To broaden the scope of its research, KIK Compounds has partnered with the Multidisciplinary Research Institute for Science and Technology (ICSTM) within the Valahia University of Targoviste, with the aim of further developing the research and innovation on the aerobic and anaerobic biodegradability of polymeric materials.
